Peace Camp is a week long, day program which teaches youth from urban communities creative ways to deal with conflict, stress and anger. The program builds self-esteem, fosters positive relationships, and provides tools for cooperative living and conflict resolution. Review of past evaluations have revealed that as a result of peace camp, participants reported having stronger communication and problem solving skills. Moreover, participants were able to clearly articulate strategies for resolving conflicts and managing anger.

The Annual LPANJ Conference features novel research and practice topics that relate specifically to Latinos and that aim to support the advancement of our knowledge of the psychology of Latinos.

Our workshops are multidisciplinary and target current and important topics that serve mental health professionals to improve their efficacy with their clients.
